Important – Optimize Reports for children
The following advice is from CWB’s Senior Advisory panel:
Baby hair is different from the hair of a child. Life cycles occur in 7’s. We can therefore expect that by the time a child is turning 7 the awakening of cells, that became dormant during the stage of prophase (a stage called diasinesis), happens at the time when the gonads (ovaries and testes) stop differentiating.
Based on this, Optimize Reports should only be produced for children from the age of 7.
It is important because the hair follicle will be stimulated within the following year by the secretion of hormones like testosterone which will mark the stage of puberty.
Government laws vary regarding Children
Some governments have laws/guidelines for children. Most however allow children, over the age of 15, to generate a report without a consent form signed by the parent/guardian. For all children between the ages of 7 and 15 it is advisable to get a consent form signed.
